Description
NHS Activated Magnetic Beads are superparamagnetic affinity beads pre-activated with N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) groups, designed for covalent coupling of proteins, peptides, antibodies, and other primary amine-containing ligands.
The NHS ester groups react efficiently with primary amines under mild conditions, forming stable amide bonds. This allows irreversible immobilization of biomolecules onto the magnetic agarose microspheres, ensuring high stability and low ligand leakage.
The magnetic format enables fast and convenient separation using a magnetic rack, eliminating the need for centrifugation or filtration steps.
