Description
rProtein G Magnetic Beads are superparamagnetic affinity beads designed for efficient purification of monoclonal antibodies, polyclonal antibodies, and Fc-tag fusion proteins. Recombinant Protein G is immobilized on magnetic agarose microspheres, enabling high-affinity and highly specific binding to the Fc region of immunoglobulins.
Compared with traditional agarose resin, the magnetic format allows rapid separation using a magnetic rack without centrifugation or column operation, greatly simplifying antibody purification workflows.
Protein G is derived from Streptococcal cell wall proteins and exhibits strong binding to a wide range of mammalian IgGs, including subclasses that show weak affinity to Protein A.
